The Butterfly Wing®, located within Baton Rouge General Medical Center Midcity, is the first and most experienced inpatient hospice unit in the area. Our 8-bed facility offers 24/7 care for patients needing intensive symptom management and pain control in a comfortable, home-like setting.

Pediatric Care Program

Our dedicated team provides specialized care for children with serious illnesses, focusing on both medical and emotional well-being. We empower families with knowledge about their child's condition and guide them through complex healthcare decisions. Alongside medical expertise, we offer comprehensive support for emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs.

Our palliative care services prioritize relief from symptoms and stress, aiming to enhance your child's quality of life. With regular visits from our multidisciplinary team and 24/7 access to a registered nurse, you'll have continuous support every step of the way. The way it should be.
