As part of the end-of-life care services offered by The Hospice of Baton Rouge to our patients and their loved ones, each family is followed in our Bereavement Support Program for 13 months following the death of the patient. This service includes cards, letters, phone calls, visits, and bereavement support groups.

Bereavement Support Services are also offered free of charge to the public by The Hospice of Baton Rouge as a service to the Baton Rouge Community.

Hospice of Baton Rouge can help with the process of grieving through specialized workshops and helpful mailings.
Trained Grief Counselors help provide this support and guidance through a range of free services such as:
One Day Grief Workshops
Our 6-Week Grief Support Groups (see current support group dates)
Individual Counseling
Grief Words – Our Online Bereavement Resource Library
Referrals to other Grief Professionals and Services
Our Annual Memorial Service
